Satellite Data Solutions Leader Moves Forward with a New Look
LINDON, Utah June 5, 2001 Helius, Inc., the premier technology
developer for satellite data solutions, today introduced its new corporate
brand identity, including an updated logo and color pallet.
Helius has been the leading innovator in software and technology for satellite
data management since its inception in 1995. As a leader, Helius has refreshed
its identity to reflect leadership, reliability, newfound energywith
the issuance of its patentand innovation with its ideas and implementation.
The name Helius originated from Helios, the mythological Greek god of
the sun. This name was adopted upon incorporation and has become well
known in the satellite data market. The new logo holds the oldest symbol
of the sun combining the center ring (gray) and the middle ring (orange).
The outer ring with the three distinct cogs (gray) completes the final
symbolic element of the logo. Using the earliest symbol of the sun, coupled
with the outer ring, the new logo represents experience, innovation and
speed.
"The sunburst has served the company well since 1995," says
Myron Mosbarger, president and CEO of Helius. "However, by pursuing
the new logo, we are holding true to our philosophy to be an innovator
and leader in our market arena."
New corporate colors are orange and gray, complemented by silver and varying
shades of blue and green. Orange was chosen to convey energy, balance
and enthusiasm. Gray portrays reliability and maturity.
Helius recently previewed its new corporate brand, designed by graphic
designer Chris Taylor, to a small audience at the National Association
of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new identity was
received with compliments for its innovative and fresh look.
