HELIUS ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF NATHAN S. HATCH AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
Accomplished Professional joins Helius Executive Team
LINDON, Utah– December 12, 2001 –Helius, Inc., the premier
technology developer for satellite data solutions, today announced Nathan
S. Hatch has accepted the position of senior vice president of marketing.
Hatch joins Helius from Lineo, Inc. where he served as vice president
of marketing and senior vice president of professional services. He will
oversee the company's strategic marketing, company and product positioning
and branding, leveraging nearly 15 years of experience in high technology
marketing and management.

Prior to his positions with Lineo Hatch held executive and senior marketing
positions with Caldera, (Nasdaq:CALD) Novell, (Nasdaq:NOVL) WordPerfect
and Allen Communication. His responsibilities included leading the worldwide
introduction and promotion of several proprietary and open-source products
and technologies. In addition Hatch is a skilled entrepreneur and manager,
having created and directed several independent business ventures. Hatch
holds a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's degree
in organizational management.
