Helius Announces the Release of Helius MediaStream Server PRO

Streaming Server Technology Delivers Rich-Media Content to The Desktop

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA—April 19, 2004—Helius, Inc., the worldwide leader in business class data broadcasting solutions, today announced the release and availability of the Helius MediaStream Server PRO video streaming server. This new product simultaneously delivers multiple videos to network attached users.

Streaming is becoming a preferred video communication and distribution method in corporations around the globe. It is not enough to create great content, it has to be available when and where people work. This new product allows the use of multiple streams of video content that can be managed and displayed across local and wide-area networks.

The Helius MediaStream Server PRO delivers video in MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and High Definition formats, ensuring high-quality video with minimal impact on network resources. The MediaStream Server PRO is managed through the Helius Management Console, which gives a system administrator the ability to update stored content, and build and maintain custom play-lists all from a web-browser.
