Helius MediaStream Server

The Helius MediaStream™ Server can simultaneously deliver multiple videos to nearly an unlimited number of network attached users. It delivers video in MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and HD formats, ensuring high-quality video with minimal impact on the network. Delivery can be streamed using a schedule or played on-demand from stored files. The Helius MediaStream Server is managed via the Helius Management Console, which gives the administrator the ability to update stored content or custom playlists from any browser. Users can watch the content from their desktop using the Helius MediaStream™ Player. The Helius MediaStream Server can also serve content to Helius MediaStream™ SST appliances.

The Helius MediaStream Server allows organizations to setup an internal Business Television network on their local area network and deliver high quality video to users at their desktop. Organizations can deliver training and development programs and corporate marketing events using stored content.

By combining the Helius MediaStream Server with the Helius MediaStream SST and/or Helius MediaStream Player, cus­tomers can quickly implement an organization-wide video on demand and streaming video solution. This solution can be used to deliver employee development material, on-demand marketing information for customers and even digital signage solutions.
