The Helius MediaGate Router 1550 is an IP compliant router and open application server platform that enables the integration of IP network services over traditional satellite and terrestrial networks. Connection and expansion options include DVB, and terrestrial connections. Key features of this product are MPEG2 playback and acceleration, and single PCI expansion. The Helius MediaGate Router 1550 offers unparalleled power and flexibility for the secure delivery of distance learning, digital signage, software updates and other media rich content. Its unique modular design allows the Helius MediaGate 1550 to be customized and updated easily. Management of the 1550 can be done locally or remotely using the browser based Helius Management Console.
