STREAMING OVER IP

Although video and audio are often streamed across the Internet, Helius streams everything via IP, using a satellite system. from the server to the client in response to a client request for a Web page containing embedded videos. The client plays the incoming multimedia stream in real time as the data is received.

Helius has the solutions for streaming over IP. Generally streaming video solutions work based on a closed-loop intranet, which is not as conventional as using a satellite like Helius does.
